Georgia Southern Alumnus Donates Van to Wildlife Center

van-wildlifeThe Center for Wildlife Education and The Lamar Q Ball, Jr., Raptor Center at Georgia Southern University have received a new van after a generous donation from NeSmith Chevrolet Buick GMC in Claxton.

“This van is certainly going to allow us to travel more with our birds, snakes and other animals for educational demonstrations and exhibits,” said Steve Hein, director of The Center for Wildlife Education. “The van, which has images of our eagle, Freedom and other birds of prey, will help us promote all the work with wildlife we do. We are extremely grateful and appreciate everything Martin NeSmith and his family have done for the Center and Georgia Southern.”
